SENIOR DIVISION (9-12th grades) REGIONAL Science Fair will November 29, 2016 at SMA.
Elementary (1-5th grades) and Junior (6-8th grades) division REGIONAL Science Fair will be January 31, 2017 at SMA.

St. James Parish is an Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) affiliate.The purpose of affiliating is to maintain high expectations in science education. Our vision is to promote the understanding and appreciation of science and the vital role it plays in human advancement: to inform, educate, and inspire.
Teachers prepare students to participate on different levels of competition:
- School Fairs(Elementary schools vary, check with your child's school)
- St. James Parish District & Regional Fair*
- Louisiana State University State Science Fair (March 2017 Baton Rouge, LA) *
- INTEL International Science and Engineering Fair (May 2017) *
The overall high school division winner of the St. James Parish Science and Engineering Fair automatically wins an all-expense paid trip to the Intel ISEF.
