St. James Parish Schools hosted Dr. Cade Brumley, Louisiana State Superintendent, along with other officials for its From Cradle to Career Education Day at the College and Career Center. Dr. Brumley and other guests had the opportunity to tour the C3 and see students learn hands-on skills in welding, nursing, robotics, and much more.
Thanks to LA Commissioner of Higher Education Dr. Kim Hunter and River Parish Community College Chancellor Quinton Taylor for participating in yesterday’s event. Dr. Hunter and Chancellor Taylor expressed the importance of Dual Enrollment and Career Development to the students. Also, thanks to River Parish Community College for offering every student AND parent a $1000 scholarship to attend RPCC in the Fall of 2023.
